Agora at Hotel Callista was intentionally designed by Charlene Rand, founder of Sweet Hill & Co — a multi-award-winning venue and hospitality brand recognized as one of the top wedding venues in Southeastern Connecticut.
With a background in real estate, catering, and event production, Charlene partnered with Hotel Callista to transform this boutique hotel space into an intimate, thoughtfully designed venue where couples can host everything in one place. Every detail — from layout and lighting to food, bar, and flow — was created with the guest experience in mind.

The Agora Story
Located in Norwich, CT, the historic Hotel Callista dazzles in elegant charm. The Agora Room, Greek for "gathering place", is an award winning venue perfect for year-round destination for classic events. Stunning details abound from the tiled entryway to the beautifully crafted restored bar, no small detail was overlooked. To add value and ease, we have prepared a designer level of in-house inventory for you to utilize for your event. Guests can also enjoy over-night accommodations in this boutique style hotel located in the heart of downtown Norwich.
